Family Focus Counseling Services P.C. is licensed by the State of VA, as an Out-Patient Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling Facility and has a Certified Batterer Intervention Program. It was established in 1985 as a private practice and became a professional corporation in 1989.

Family Focus Counseling Services P.C. has
a well qualified staff which averages over 14
years of experience in the field. Our
counselors come from diverse backgrounds
including inpatient treatment for Mental Health
and Substance Abuse issues and Juvenile
Probation. Our Administrative and secretarial
staff has over 15 years in accounting and
business management experience.

Family Focus Counseling Services P.C. is
committed to working with the individual and
when necessary, with lawyers and
appropriate community agencies in a
cooperative team effort to best meet the
needs of our potential clients.

Appointments - Your first appointment can usually be
scheduled within a week. Daytime, evening and
Saturday hours are available.
 
Fees - Fees for services are established during your
initial session. Health insurance may cover a
large part of the cost.
 
Frequency and Duration of Counseling - Individual
needs and situations are unique and determine the frequency and duration of counseling.
 
Cancellation Policy - Except for emergencies, cancellations should be made at least twenty-four hours in advance. In such instances, there is no fee for a cancelled session.
